I can appreciate this for its modish qualities, although I trust myself less than I do when evaluating a record purchase based on cover art and song titles. Most importantly I really wanted the thing to work. I figured that 35 euros wasn't an expensive gamble on a record player that might give me pleasure because, you know, it played records. I plugged it in and realized that it probably wasn't grounded because it hummed and crackled. The table didn't spin. The radio is receiving nothing. So I've got a DIY fix-it project and please feel free to comment with suggestions. It does look pretty but I'd really like it to, you know, play records.
